A cleaning company, built like a tech platform.

The Brief

Services by Hero is a commercial cleaning and facility-services company in the greater Sacramento region. What sets them apart is operational: proprietary technology, documented supervision, photo-verified work, and W-2 crews. The problem is that commercial cleaning looks interchangeable online. A facilities manager comparing vendors sees the same stock photography and the same vague promises on every site.

The brief was to make the website prove the thing the company actually sells, which is accountability. The site had to feel as engineered and trustworthy as the operation behind it, and it had to reach the buyers searching across dozens of industries and cities for a cleaning partner they could verify.

The Approach

Hudson North designed and built the entire presence around the idea the company already lives by: cleaning you can verify. A dark, editorial visual language that signals systems and precision instead of mops and buckets. The proprietary SBH app gets a first-class showcase, framed as the infrastructure behind every visit, so the buyer understands they are hiring a platform, not just a crew.

Underneath the design we built reach. Close to sixty pages: a full service catalog, twelve industry programs written in each vertical's own protocol language, a regional set of service-area pages, a working cost calculator that turns a square-footage estimate into a quote conversation, and an operations blog for topical authority. Every page carries schema, entity microdata, and llms.txt so Google and AI assistants can read, parse, and cite Services by Hero across the entire region and every industry it serves.

What we shipped.

  • Cost Calculator

An interactive estimator that turns facility square footage, frequency, and service type into a transparent cost range, capturing the lead at the moment of intent instead of hiding price behind a form.

  • Twelve Industry Programs

A dedicated page for each vertical, from medical and healthcare to private aviation, written in that industry's own compliance and protocol language so the right buyer sees themselves on the page.

  • Regional Service-Area Pages

A set of city and region pages across the greater Sacramento footprint, each with genuine local signals, so the business surfaces when buyers search for commercial cleaning across the territory.

  • Proprietary App Showcase

An editorial product section that presents the SBH platform: geo-fenced attendance, photo-verified checklists, and live quality scores, framed as the infrastructure behind every visit.

  • Findability Architecture

Full schema markup, entity microdata, and llms.txt wired so Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews can all surface and cite Services by Hero across every industry and city it serves.

  • Operations Blog

A facility-intelligence writing program on indoor air quality, infection control, and operations that builds topical authority and feeds the search and AI strategy.

Outcomes
  • Sells the System

The site proves accountability, the thing the company actually sells, not just a list of services.

  • Found Everywhere

Close to sixty pages of industry and city coverage, built so Google and AI tools can cite it across the region.

  • Active Quoting

A working cost calculator turns anonymous visitors into qualified, intent-rich inquiries.

  • Category of One

A dark, engineered aesthetic that looks nothing like the commodity cleaning web.

In Their Words

I’ve already gained new clients directly from the new site, which at the end of the day is what this is all about.

Hudson North built me a website that genuinely stands out, and they were dialed into my needs from day one. The platform became the foundation for a full rebrand of my business, and they installed a real-time pricing feature no one else in my industry is using. The best marketing team I've worked with, no contest.

A national distributor, designed like one.

The Brief

West Coast Supplies provides industrial stretch film, vented wrap, and packaging equipment to businesses nationwide. The existing web presence didn't reflect the scale of their operation, the quality of their product line, or the thirty-plus years of category expertise behind the brand.

Their customers, warehouse managers and shipping operations leads, were arriving at a site that gave them no reason to take West Coast seriously next to better-funded competitors. The brand was getting written off in the first three seconds.

The Approach

Hudson North rebuilt the entire web presence from scratch. New visual language designed for buyers who evaluate seriously, conversion-optimized layout that pushes toward inquiry and order, and a full findability architecture so Google, Maps, and AI assistants can all read, parse, and cite West Coast when buyers search for stretch film, vented wrap, and pallet-wrap equipment.

Beyond the redesign, we built interactive purchasing tools that turn the website into an active sales partner. An ROI calculator that quantifies cost per load against retail pricing. A product comparison tool that lets buyers evaluate film gauge, width, and stretch performance side by side. A guided equipment selection flow that walks buyers from operation type and pallet volume to recommended machine and film pairing. The site doesn't just present products. It helps the buyer choose.

What we shipped.

  • ROI Calculator

Interactive tool that lets buyers input pallet volume and current cost per load to see projected savings against their existing vendor.

  • Product Comparison

Side-by-side product comparison with film gauge, width, and stretch performance, plus brand-equivalency mapping so buyers can swap into West Coast products with confidence.

  • Equipment Selection

Guided selection flow that walks buyers through their packaging operation type and pallet volume, then recommends matched wrap machines and film grades.

  • Findability Architecture

Full schema markup, entity microdata, and llms.txt wired so Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews can all surface and cite West Coast for stretch film, vented wrap, and pallet-wrap queries.

  • Mobile-First Catalog

The entire product catalog engineered to load under two seconds on mobile, where most warehouse and shipping buyers research between site visits.

  • Conversion-Optimized Layout

Inquiry and quote paths surfaced at every page level. Every product detail page ladders into a single, friction-free contact step.

Outcomes
  • Found Everywhere

Built so Google, Perplexity, and ChatGPT can cite West Coast when buyers search.

  • Active Selling

The site helps buyers calculate, compare, and choose. Not just describe products.

The Brief

The Claim Jumper Invitational is an annual private tournament at Serrano Country Club, a high-end golf and hospitality property. The event commands deep sponsor relationships and a tight community of returning attendees, but the digital touchpoints had been treated as an afterthought: scattered email threads, basic event pages, no central source of truth.

The brief: build a single digital home for the tournament that matches the scale of the event itself. Cinematic. Comprehensive. Functional during the tournament itself, not just before and after.

The Approach

Hudson North led with a golden-hour aerial as the editorial spine. The site opens like a film before it becomes a tool. Pacing, typography, and motion calibrated so the venue's character carries the first impression and the booking flow earns the second.

Then we built the tournament technology underneath. A live countdown that syncs across visitors. A real-time leaderboard updated during play. Appointment booking for sponsors, vendors, and committee meetings. A photo and video archive organized by year. And the entire site engineered as an installable PWA, so attendees install it to their home screen and use it as the official event app during tournament weekend.

In Their Words

Many of our members and team assumed we had invested well over $15,000 in the project based on the quality of the final product.

Hudson North transformed our website into a true extension of the Claim Jumper Invitational brand. The site captures the energy, prestige, and professionalism of the event while presenting it at a level that matches its reputation. Their strategic approach, attention to detail, and execution exceeded our expectations.

  • Most Hudson North projects go from intake to launch in two to four weeks, depending on scope. The timeline starts once we have your materials in hand: photos, business facts, and any brand assets. We run a short intake call first, then design, build, and ship the site ourselves with no offshore handoffs.
